Come join me, Capt. Mitch for an exciting day of backcountry fishing in the waters of Key West Florida. On your trip with me we will make the day your way as we go fishing for what is in season here in the backcountry waters of Key West, Florida.

I fish very hard for my people and do what I can to ensure their success on the water. I am patient, friendly and fun. I love to be on the water and it shows with my repeat clientele that have come to fish with me for over 10 years. I make my living off of repeat business and I hope to add you to my list of friends. I enjoy offering more than just a fishing charter in Key West. I enjoy showing folks day in and out what makes the Florida Keys such a great place.

My Specialties

I guide fishing charters for all species of the fish in different parts of the year and seasons. Many of my clients enjoy the Tarpon and Shark fishing as a specialty charters

Shark Fishing

We go out into the Key West backcountry shallows in search of Bull Sharks, Black Tip Sharks, Lemmon Sharks and Hammerhead Sharks. I can adjust the size of the shark in respect to the size and ability of my anglers. This makes it possible for me to guide the proven professional to the monster Big Teeth or the kids to catch a fish of a lifetime and make them a hero.
   Don't worry. All the sharks get to go back and play again.

Tarpon Fishing

Key West is known for the tarpon fishing. Sportsmen come from all over the world to catch one of these monsters. I am here to show you how. Come tarpon fishing with me in Key West Harbor and beyond. Fish live baits and artificial lures with spinning rods and bait casting reels as we drift up some of the largest tarpon in South Florida and the Keys. Be amazed when they inhale the bait and enjoy the fight.

 Tarpon fishing runs from February through July and sometimes can be hot in the fall too. Bookings for the spring can get pretty stacked up, so call early and reserve your spot to catch the Silver King.

My Boat The "South Pole"

My boat the South Pole is a sexy modern state of the art backcountry and flats fishing machine designed and built to be used for exactly what I do. She is 20 Ft long and made by Young Boats. She is powered by Mercury Marine number 1 on the water. Mercury Opti max technology is the best when it comes to reliability and fuel efficiency. Running my Young with Mercury power allows me to get the best fuel economy and pass the savings to my clients with reasonable rates.

With plenty of room inside and on the deck I can easily fish 3 persons and run with 4 if needed for a minimal extra charge. The deck of the South Pole is huge and able to have up to two angler fishing from the bow at one time.
