make up the Florida Keys backcountry.

Tackle
There is no experience
necessary for
backcountry fishing. From the total novice to the
expert angler there is much fun to be had catching fish and
enjoying your day.
Spin fishing rods and reels are
the most common tackle used for backcountry fishing. Casting
plugs, Live bait and artificial.
Fly
fishing is also a fun way to set up your day. Most of our
fishing guides offer state of the art fly fishing tackle for you
to use with lessons on how to cast and catch fish.
Specialty Charters
In The Backcountry
Tarpon Fishing is incredible in the backcountry. Many guides
offer 4,6, and 8 hour trips focusing on tarpon using flats boats
or bay boats. Tarpon Season runs from March through July in the
Florida Keys.
Bonefishing charters in the backcountry can be done two
ways, on a flats boat and on a bay boat. The bay boat is about
the only way to get 3 or 4 persons
flats fishing for bonefish.
Shark Fishing is also a main staple to the backcountry.
Shallow water sight fishing for the monsters of the flats. Check

Bay boats are the preferred way to fish the backcountry.
